Join us in making a lot of noise about hearing loss at an important Palm Beach County community service event on Saturday, April 25, 2009.

Created to help raise awareness of noise-induced hearing loss and its prevention, we will be holding complimentary hearing screenings for children and adults from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the new Community Health Center in Palm Springs, 2330 Congress Avenue, just south of Forest Hill Blvd, as a kick-off to Better Hearing Month in May.

The 2009 Empowerment Through Hearing "Listen Up/Turn It Down" event is supported by the Junior League of the Palm Beaches, The Palm Beach Post, the Palm Beach Flagler Rotary Club, the Community Health Center and area audiologists who are volunteering their time and services. In addition, there will be hearing-health vendors and professionals on-site to provide information on products and services.
